U.S. Senate and House Pass Resolution on ASME's 125th Anniversary!
The U.S. Senate and House of Representatives have passed, by unanimous consent, S.Con.Res.13, a concurrent resolution "congratulating ASME on their 125th anniversary, celebrating the achievements of ASME members, and expressing the gratitude of the American people for ASME's contributions." ASME's monthly Comic Book series features events in mechanical engineering and ASME during the past 125 years — artist Ron Spellman's look into the life of Bonnie Dunbar, an astronaut with a doctorate in mechanical/biomedical engineering, in "No Limit!"

Monthly articles in ME Magazine highlight the growth of the profession in light of technological advancements through twelve decades. July's focus is the military industry after World War II: "Plowshares to Swords and Back."
